111th Philippine Independence
Philippines is a land of milk and honey, the pearl of the orient..
today is the celebration of Philippine Independence marked its 111th year
from Spanish colonization.
Ruled by Spain for 300 years after its proclamation
in Kawit, Cavite on June 12, 1898 by Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo.
In which the first National Anthem was sang, written by Julian Felipe and
accompanied by the band of Malabon.
